Ambulatory Phlebectomy is a minimally invasive technique to remove special case varicose veins from the surface of the leg. By special case, we mean veins that remain after the closure of underlying superficial veins or bulging veins that are unrelated to any venous reflux disorder. Therefore, an ambulatory phlebectomy is usually performed after a patient has already had RFA treatment to close their bulging veins.
Ambulatory Phlebectomy is often performed in conjunction with sclerotherapy.

During the procedure

After the procedure
